After a DIY attempt at installing a ceiling fan at my older mother-in-law's apartment turned out to be a bit more involved than expected, we reached out to Thumbtack and Yelp professionals for help -- We were very happy to work with Alex at Repairs and Maintenance Services after he reached out to us. He was very responsive in written messages and responding to the request for a phone call and came out later the same day to provide an estimate.
He came back a few days later to complete the work, on time and as scheduled. While I was available for the initial estimate, I was not available to be there for the work itself.
